FIRST GSO CD NOW AVAILABLE!
The CD of "Northern Lights" the concert given on Feb 17th, is now available at a price of $20. Featuring Todd Yaniw
as soloist in the Grieg Piano Concerto, this CD captures the excitement of the entire live performance. A sizable
portion was broadcast on CBC Radio 2 DiscDrive by Jurgen Gothe on April 29th.

Guelph's own orchestra is a classical ensemble, of about 35 - 55 players,
including strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion. The repertoire ranges
from Beethoven to Bartok, and from Mozart to brand-new music. Players include
professionals and gifted amateurs from the Guelph area.
The orchestra performs six or more concerts a season, in River Run Centre. Click on "Concerts" for information, and come

Founded in 2001 as the Guelph Chamber Orchestra, the name was changed to
Guelph Symphony Orchestra in May 2003, reflecting the
